Delete your Soultown app data
Soultown Festival app (iPhone and Android), published by Soultown Festival.
You can ask us to delete the personal data held about you by the Soultown Festival app and our ticketing at any time. You don't need an account - just email us.
How to request deletion
- Email info@soultownfestival.com with the subject "Delete my Soultown app data".
- Include the email address you used to buy tickets or sign up, and - if you used Find Your Friends - the display name you used in your friend group.
- We'll confirm by email once your data has been deleted, within 30 days of your request.
Uninstalling the app also removes the app's anonymous identifier from your phone, and you can turn off notifications at any time in your phone's settings.
What we delete
- Your app's device identifier and push notification token
- Your favourite artists
- Find Your Friends data: your display name, friend-group membership and location
- Sign-up and mailing list entries, and any marketing preferences
- The link between your tickets and the app on your phone
What we keep, and for how long
- Ticket order records (name, email, order details and amount paid) are kept for 6 years, because UK law requires businesses to keep financial records for that long. They are deleted after that period. Card details are never stored by us - payments are handled by Stripe.
- If you have a valid ticket for an upcoming event, deleting your data does not cancel the ticket - your ticket order is kept so you can still get in.
